Congratulations on your decision to make a commitment to each other.

As gay marriages have not yet been recognised in Western Australia, your commitment to each other is the same as in any heterosexual relationship, apart from the legalities.

Recognising and challenging this, my ceremony is designed to honour your individual beliefs, traditions and wishes, regardless of your sexual orientation.

My hope is to offer a ceremony that you, your friends and family enjoy on the day and will remember for all time.

While at present commitment ceremonies and gay weddings confer no legal status, they are experienced by the couple as just as valid as any legally sanctioned marriage ceremony and the promises or vows made are taken just as seriously by the couple.

I will provide you with sample readings (poetry), sample vows, ring exchanges, plus suggestions for symbolic acts, such as candle-lighting, sand or water ceremonies. Also, I can provide you with all the relevant information you may need to incorporate children into the ceremony and suitable vows for blended families.

Included in the price is an attractive Commitment Certificate, and Appreciation Certificates as required.
