A Name Giving, or Naming Ceremony conducted by a Civil Celebrant is a fulfilling and meaningful experience for all concerned. It is an occasion when a new birth is celebrated and a child welcomed into the world. The child can be of any age.

Family relationships are deepened, as the parents become more fully aware of their responsibilities. So do the Godparents, or perhaps you would prefer to call them Guardians or Mentors.

Grandparents are also included and recognized during the Ceremony, which strengthens the bond with their grandchild.

I will provide you with sample readings (poetry), plus suggestions for symbolic acts, such as candle-lighting and anointing with oil.

The words of the ceremony are chosen to reflect the values of the parents and the family.

Included in the price is an attractive Naming Certificate, and Certificates for the Godparents and Grandparents.
