There are many reasons why couples choose to have a Renewal of Vows.

• They married overseas and want to publicly declare their love for each other in front of family and friends who were unable to attend the original ceremony.

• They wish to celebrate their 10th, 20th or 30th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in front of family and friends, involving their children in the ceremony.

• They reunite after a separation and feel the need to renew their marriage vows.

• Or their original wedding ceremony was unsatisfactory for one reason or another.

The participation of children, family or close friends is encouraged, although this is not essential.

Each Renewal of Vows will of course be original as the introduction will be unique. I am happy to spend time with you discussing the ceremony and your reasons for having it, to help make the occasion special and memorable.

This will then be the basis for my introduction. I will also assist you with writing your own personal renewal of vows and provide samples of suitable poetry.

With the help of your close friends, make your own service in the venue of your choosing – why not have an intimate gathering for the inner circle of family and friends, perhaps in your own home or garden, or push the boat out, hire a hotel, signature or icon building and invite a great crowd.
